Key Terms
"Final Sale" — the purchase cannot be refunded after checkout.
"Fine Print" — the specific terms listed on each deal page (displayed as "Need to Know Info" on the deal page).
"Paid Value" — the amount you originally paid, excluding any promotional discount.

When Can I Get a Refund?
You can request a refund if:
The voucher has not been redeemed
No appointment has been made
The request is within 3 calendar days of purchase, unless stated otherwise on the deal page
The deal is not marked "Final Sale" or non-refundable in the Fine Print
When Are Refunds Not Available?
A refund is not available if:
The voucher has been redeemed
An appointment has already been made
The 3-calendar-day window has passed
The deal is marked "Final Sale" or non-refundable in the Fine Print
The deal is marked "Pay on View" (POV) — these deals are non-refundable once the voucher has been viewed
A dispute for this transaction has been filed with and closed by your bank, regardless of outcome
What Happens to the Amount I Paid?
The amount you paid never expires. The merchant is solely responsible to you for honoring the voucher up to the amount paid, even after the promotional value has expired.

When Can I Get a Refund?
You can request a refund if the merchant cannot book your stay before the book-by date (the last date to complete your booking, listed on the deal page).
All other cancellation terms depend on the booking method and are listed in the deal's Fine Print.
What Happens to the Amount I Paid?
The amount you paid never expires. The merchant is solely responsible to you for honoring the voucher up to the amount paid, even after the promotional value has expired.
Goods (physical products shipped to you)
When Can I Get a Refund or Return?
Groupon Goods are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery at no cost.
For Marketplace items sold by third-party merchants, return policies are set by the selling merchant and listed on the deal page.
When Are Refunds Not Available?
A refund is not available if:
The item has already shipped — return policies apply instead
The deal is marked "Final Sale" — non-refundable unless the item has a manufacturing defect
A dispute for this transaction has been filed with and closed by your bank, regardless of outcome
Tickets & Events (concerts, shows, Live events)
Event tickets are marked Final Sale unless stated otherwise on the deal page.
Certain Live deals (events attended or streamed live) that are not marked as Final Sale are refundable only within 24 hours of purchase.
Extraordinary Event Policy
Eligible for a refund:
Cancelled Events: If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, a full refund will be issued.
Rescheduled Events: Refunds are available on request within 30 days of the announcement of the rescheduled event. If the new event date falls within 30 days of the announcement, refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.
Not eligible for a refund:
Performer or lineup changes
Lost or damaged event tickets
Health protocol changes at the venue
Tickets purchased through a third party — contact the seller directly
How Refunds Are Issued
Refunds are generally issued as Groupon Bucks (store credit). If eligible, refunds may be issued to your original form of payment.
Groupon Bucks are available immediately. Refunds to credit cards and other payment methods are processed within 1–2 business days and may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement. Processing times may vary depending on your bank.
